Had a visit from someone assessing whether steven can manage his own affairs this morning she didn't take long to realise
That he wasn't going to handle his affairs himself but whilst the lady was filling in the forms Natalie asked if Steven had an affair! Just one of those priceless moments with children!

Off work today, full of cold but just been to collect Steven fro, Foxgloves & the thermometer in the car says current temperature is -9 which probably explains the 'chilled to the bone' feeling.

Only an hour and a half till the council executive meting. Getting nervous about my speech/presentation. But looking forward to getting closure on this chapter

Arrived at church this morning, Steven nearly asleep so wheeled him in wheelchair, now going in & out of seizure!

Steven out with carers so we have taken Nat out for a bit of a treat. Lunch at a pub on the way to do what girls do best, shopping! In Hitchen.

Feel like I have done a few rounds in a wrestling match. Getting Nat ready 4 school was a real struggle 2day! She is not so happy this year

Had a fantastic, restful, child free weekend. Picked Nat up, she seems to have enjoyed her weekend too! Now in Pizza Hut giving Nat a treat

Had a good nights sleep & the kids are off to school, time to relax before heading off to work.. Be a chilly bike ride this morning though!

Well.... Both kids in bed now... Peaceful night required!

A good night but S had bad diarhoea, all over clothes & bedding etc, just got that, & him, cleared up & he threw up.. Yuck!

Struggling to understand how 1 organisation (Bedford Borough Council) can be so institutionally incompetent!

Being let down with sitters by the Agency Again! This time on my b/day! Useless people! & bedford borough want us 2 use this kind of service more often instead of more reliable services! I think NOT!

Just got Nat off to school.. At last, was a huge battle all morning! Peace & quiet now though :) Work this morning but I want to sleep!

Had a very interesting morning, took some1 to S /Woodford & saw this fantastic community facility & then on to meet Graham & Steph. Just round corner. Finding out just how small the world really is!

almost forgot, had a call from Nats respite carers, asking if we wanted her to do an overnight tomorrow night. a real answer to prayer.

OH dear!! What did I say! Wheelchair services had a special harness made up to keep Steven from sliding out of his chair but it won't work!

Getting tired of life, particularly of being a parent to 2 demanding & difficult children. Just running out of energy & strength.....

Got Natalie off to school... Steven sleeping following a seizure & sedation @ 6.15 this morning.

That was an unexpectedly civilised breakfast! Steven sleeping off a fit & Nat just woken after sleeping in all was quiet & calm here.

43 Hours & 20 minutes to go......

Well, try as I might, this is not going to be one of those productive days! Far from it in fact! Now wheres the kettle? More coffee.....

Back & unpacked, good journey home, we also had a good time on the beach, apart from me getting stung by a wasp that is! :(

Well almost packed up, bit cloudy & windy this morning but not bad enough to stop us heading for the seafront for a while this morning.

Had another great day on the beach, so much for overcast & grey! I just realised how much sun I caught. Got sunburn :(

Well, we are off on our holidays, weather: damp but not raining

We have stopped 4 lunch @little chef A12 Southwold, waitress miserable as anything facilities discusting service lousey! In all 0/10

Still waiting for food @littlechef a number of people have left service is that bad! We would if it wasn't for Natalie, she wouldn't cope.

Just heard from the carers out with Steven, he has had another fit, half way round Harold & Odel C/park. Always had a great sense of timing.

Tired this morning, after being woken just after 6am with Steven fitting, still strugle with my sleep being abruply interrupted like that.

That was a successful trip. Now on the bus headed homeward bound.

Buying ticket home, I said to Nat tell the bus driver where you want to go so she turns to the driver & says 'home please'
